It seems we are a lot alike, even more than I originally thought.

While it's good for your staff that they have such a compassionate, introspective manager - there is simply no comparison between them and you. If you're working 50-60 hours a week and staffer 1 is working 35 when she should be working 40, it doesn't matter that you came in an hour later than she did. Your laundry list is obscenely overloaded, and though it may seem like you only crossed one thing off, it's because of those other 20 "drivebys" you took on even though they weren't originally on the list. And you most certainly do delegate and are an excellent team player. So by no means should you compare yourself to Witchypoo because you MOTIVATE and INSPIRE your staff and fight hard for them even when they don't deserve it, and they love you for it.

And yea - you don't take compliments well but most superstars don't. How could anyone be constantly told they're awesome, talented, brilliant, etc. without blushing and toeing the floor in an aw shucks manner? Get used to it and embrace it because you do rock and the compliments aren't gonna stop.KiKihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07935706632626613446noreply@blogger.com
